Bilingualism in Therapy

April 9th, 2007No Comments

In my literature search, i discovered a very interesting article about the effect of using a second language in therapy. ‘Existential Migration’ by Dr. Greg Madison

April 4th, 2007No Comments

Colin has sent me an article that i find particularly relevant to my own experience of feeling OUT OF CULTURE, both in terms of not feeling comfortably enought at any geographical area of the world and this reflecting my psychological sense of ‘belonging’ as a resul of living between cultures etc. Dr Greg Madison has completed his PhD research under the title: Existential Migration: Voluntary Migrants’ Experiences of not being at home in the World. What a profound title really!!! This could be a PhD I would write. I am thinking of contacting him and find out more about his research. He published a paper, drawn from his research, the whole article can be read by clicking here
