| The purpose of this Blog |
This blog is a form of a reflexive journal. Keeping a journal as part of reflexive research is recognised as an important aspect of qualitative paradigms (Etherington, 2004). It is also a medium by which i intend to invite the development of dialogue with other ‘fellow travellers’ in the research field or people interested in the process I am tracking along or those willing to share relevant ideas and experiences.
This blog is seen as:
- a tool of reference where information or the sources of information is recorded
- a tool for reflecting, thinking and articulating
- a place to process information and consider its relevance
- a place to record a perspective on different topics
- a place to experiment with ideas, writing and recording
- a place that assists in articulating frustrations and successes so that they can be utilized both or either of them to one’s advantage
- a field of interaction with those interested in the process
