The meaning of “atrapos”

Atrapos (n.) is a Greek word meaning “a pathway”, a way, course, or track, in which anything moves or has moved; route; passage. Also used figuratively, of a course of life or action.

It is a term also used in some texts with more ‘esoteric’ or spiritual connotations, referring to a spiritual quest or a disciple’s path.

In the context of this blog, the word is used referring to the research journey, the ‘travels’ to both the external and inner world, the pathway that each quest opens up in front of one’s inquiring mind and soul.
